Embark on a two-day journey along the Douro River, departing from Porto toward Régua, and travel through the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The experience begins at Cais da Estiva in Porto, cruising upriver into the heart of the Douro Valley. Breakfast and a regional lunch will be served on board, offering moments inspired by traditional Portuguese cuisine while the landscape unfolds along the valley.
The route includes passage through the Crestuma-Lever Dam, with a 14 meter lock, and the Carrapatelo Dam, with approximately 35 meters, memorable highlights showcasing the impressive engineering integrated into the Douro landscape.
Upon arrival in Régua, transfer will be provided to a 4-star hotel for a regional dinner and overnight stay. The following morning, after a buffet breakfast, you will return to the river for the downstream journey back to Porto, again with a regional lunch served on board and passage through the same dams from a new perspective.
The experience concludes in the late afternoon at Cais da Estiva in Porto.
