Get ready to explore the best of Porto on a fascinating journey through its most iconic landmarks and hidden treasures. Combining history and culture, this mixed tour brings together the best of both worlds: a panoramic drive in the comfort of our air-conditioned minibus and a guided walking tour of the main points of the historic centre, led by a guide specialising in the destination.
After checking in at our meeting point, we'll start the visit with an enchanting walking tour of the historic centre. First, admire the grandiose architecture of Avenida dos Aliados and gaze up at the majestic Clérigos Tower. You'll also discover unique places such as the famous decorated McDonald's, considered one of the most beautiful in the world.
We'll continue on to São Bento Station, where the guide will share the fascinating history of the station and its famous tile panels depicting key moments in Portuguese culture and history. Then we'll head up to the Sé Cathedral, one of Porto's oldest monuments. Here, we'll take a short break to enjoy the views and explore the history of this landmark (visit outside only). Next, we'll head to the Fernandina Wall to admire panoramic views over the city. From the Cathedral, we'll reach Praça da Batalha, where we'll board our comfortable minibus.
The tour continues in Vila Nova de Gaia, for an experience in a traditional Port wine cellar. No visit to Porto would be complete without tasting one of its most prized essences: Port Wine. Rich in symbolism and tradition, Port is known the world over. That's why we'll take you on a guided tour of a cellar, where you can learn about its history, curiosities, and secrets of the production process, ending with a tasting of three varieties of Port.
We'll end our half-day tour in the centre of Porto, in the same place where we started in the morning
