Founded in 1859, Cálem is one of the most prestigious and visited Port Wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, standing today as an international reference in the world of this iconic wine. With strong ties to the Douro Valley, it combines tradition and innovation to offer engaging wine and cultural experiences.

This visit invites guests to discover the Douro Demarcated Region and Port Wine through a guided tour of the traditional cellars and the interactive museum. In an accessible and immersive way, the wine cycle is presented, from grape varieties to styles and categories that define the diversity of Port Wine. The experience also includes a guided tasting of two Port wines, followed by a live Fado performance lasting approximately 45 minutes, creating an intimate and truly Portuguese cultural moment.

From 1st November to 31st March: visit, in English, at 05:45 p.m. and the Fado show at 06:30 p.m;

From 1st April to 31st October, visit in English at 06:15 p.m. and the Fado show at 07:00 p.m.

Private tour: €50 per person.

The tour and fado show are exclusively in English.

The duration of the experience is approximately 60 minutes.
