Caves Niepoort - Niepoortland

With more than 150 years dedicated to Port Wine, Niepoort Cellars, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, are the true guardians of a legacy passed down through generations. A magical place where wines age slowly and gracefully, this is where some of Niepoort’s most iconic creations are born.

This experience invites you to explore the Niepoort temple, inaugurated in 2021, in an intimate setting limited to 24 participants. Among barrels filled with Port, intentional cobwebs, and the unmistakable scent of the cellar, discover the small laboratory known as the “casinha” and the “Treasure”, where rare and exceptional wines rest. The visit concludes with a tasting of four wines from the different regions where Niepoort produces, reflecting a perfect balance between experimentation, terroir, and the wisdom of past generations. The experience is complemented by a platter of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie.
