Ribafreixo Wines is a wine project covering 114 hectares, located in Vidigueira, one of the Alentejo’s most historic wine areas, shaped by more than two thousand years of winemaking tradition. At the highest point of Herdade do Moinho Branco, the winery stands out for its contemporary architecture, spacious interiors filled with natural light, and a 4,000 m² bioclimatic building designed to take advantage of gravity throughout every stage of production.
The vineyards express the identity of the project, led by the Antão Vaz grape variety, alongside Arinto, Verdelho, Síria, and Alvarinho. A unique parcel in Portugal is dedicated to Chenin Blanc, complemented by red varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Miúda, and Aragonez. On the upper floor, the wine tourism area includes the winery restaurant, tasting room, leisure spaces, and wine shop, creating a welcoming environment for visitors.
The experience invites you to enjoy a guided visit through the vineyards and the estate, offering insight into the philosophy and terroir of Ribafreixo Wines. The tour concludes at the winery with a guided tasting of three wines, ideal for discovering the character and authenticity of the estate’s wines.
