About the Activity
Built in 1890 on a hill in Vila Nova de Gaia, the historic Graham’s Cellars offer privileged views over the Douro River, Porto’s historic center, and the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge. Still fully operational, they preserve the authentic atmosphere of daily cellar life. During the visit, you can hear the workers maintaining the casks, carrying out cleaning routines, and collecting samples for tasting. The building houses more than 2,000 casks and 40 large oak vats, as well as extensive areas dedicated to the bottle aging of Vintage Ports.

This experience includes a guided tour of the cellars, culminating in a premium tasting of 3 Port wines, paired with cheese, pastel de nata, and chocolate, held in the main tasting room. A carefully designed pairing that enhances different styles and provides a complete tasting moment in one of Vila Nova de Gaia’s most emblematic spaces.
