The program continues with a commented wine tasting, culminating in a traditional lunch served at the estate itself. Full Program:
  • 10:30 a.m. – Meeting point at Quinta da Avessada; 
  • 10:40 a.m. – Passage through traditional bakeries to taste bread baked in wood ovens;
  • 11:00 a.m. – Visit to the museum of Bread and Wine;
  • 11:30 a.m. - Guided visit to the Adega Cooperativa de Favaios (getting to know the industrial method of producing muscatel wines), with wine tasting;
  • 12:00 p.m. – Welcome Moscatel wine at Quinta da Avessada;
  • 12:30 p.m. – Traditional Douro lunch;
  • 14:30 p.m. – Guided visit to the Enoteca, where the guests will get to know all the traditional process of winemaking (Port Wine and Muscatel);
  • 15:30 p.m. – End of the activities.

    “Nice place, great lunch” We had a lovely day at Quinta do Avessada. Mohammed our English speaking guide let us try Moscatel and showed us the quinta before taking us into the enoteca for a huge lunch with lots of wine. We then had quite a long wait, while they were busy with coach parties, before Metu drove us to Favaios to see the museum and factory. By then it was too late to see the traditional bakeries and taste bread baked in wood ovens.

    “A experiência foi boa mas faltou organização” Tudo foi excelente exceto o fato de não termos visto a parte da produção industrial da Adega Cooperativa de Favaios porque eles não tinham espaço na agenda para nós! Aparentemente ninguém agendou e fizemos somente a degustação de vinhos (rapidamente porque era nítido que estavam com pressa). Os horários não foram iguais aos informados na programação, fomos 2x pra Favaios. Fora isso, a recepção, o tour e o almoço na Quinta da Avessada foi excelente! Vivian, 24 nov 2021

    “Paisagens Incríveis” Adoramos este passeio descontraído.
    Fomos levados a Quinta da Avessada para aprender sobre a produção de vinho da maneira mais tradicional e para almoçar. Lindo cenário, anedotas divertidas sobre comida e cultura. A comida era deliciosa, com porções generosas.
