  • 10:30 a.m. - Pick-up at the Hotel (Between Régua/Lamego – Pinhão);
  • 11:00 a.m. – Boat trip in a Rabelo boat;
  • 12:00 p.m. - Visit to Casal de Loivos viewpoint (recommended by UNESCO);
  • 01:00 p.m. – Traditional Douro Lunch; 
  • 03:00 p.m. – Guided visit to Enoteca at Quinta da Avessada;
  • 04:00 p.m. - Visit to centenary bakeries;
  • 04:30 p.m. - Visit to the Museu do Pão e do Vinho;
  • 05:30 p.m. – Drop-off at the Hotel.

    “An enjoyable day trip” We enjoyed our day trip. The highlights were:
    - The very friendly and capable driver
    - The meal and guided tour of the winery in Favaios
    Areas for improvement that we suggest:
    - Pinhao ... no time allowed to see the town
    - The boat trip had no explanation or commentary
    - There was no written itenary or menu in the restaurant. Both would help guests to know what to expect.
    - No audio / speaker in the minibus so passengers in the middle and the back could not hear the driver.
    - We had to wait at the train station in Peso da Regua for approximately 30 minutes as train carrying other guests was late arriving.     Sharon, 19 mai 2024
