About the Activity
Located in cellars with hundreds of years of history, the Fonseca experience allows guests to learn about the uniqueness of the Douro Valley, the significant role Fonseca has played in sustainable viticulture, and how Port wine is made, including a chance to test your ability to identify Port wine aromas. 

Guests will further learn about the history of the company and its world-famous wines.  With spectacular views of the city of Porto and the famous Dom Luis I bridge, guests will further learn about Fonseca's role in producing some of the world's finest wines, Fonseca Vintage Ports. Guests will also learn about the versatility of Port wine for food pairings and be able to leave their suggestions for others to appreciate.

In this experience you will participate in a self-guided tour in the cellars, which will end with the tasting of 2 Fonseca wines, accompanied by a mixed platter of Rabaçal cheese and Iberian ham.
