On this 10-hour tour, starting in Porto, we invite you to visit the Dão region and its fresh homonymous wines, as well as all its heritage, rich in history and culture.
The morning will start with a first stop at a cheese producer, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the whole creation process and taste the famous "Serra da Estrela" cheese.
After the tasting of the Serra da Estrela cheese, we will now start our adventure to discover the "Novo Dão" wines, produced with consciousness and knowledge passed down from generation to generation, something that really put the Dão region on the map. In this region, you will visit a winery that has belonged to the same family for at least 4 generations. In this winery, the love for nature is a fundamental value, as the wines are produced with minimal human intervention, taking advantage of the best qualities that nature gives to the grapes. At the end of the visit, there will be a tasting of unique DOC Dão wines!
The tour will be followed by lunch, where a delicious lunch in the winery's centenary family house awaits you with a 3-course regional meal.
After lunch, it's time to continue our adventure through Dão and keep visiting wineries known in the region for the combination of ancestral knowledge and innovation in the production of exceptional DOC Dão wines!
