About the Activity
Built in 1890 on a hill in Vila Nova de Gaia, the historic Graham’s Cellars offer privileged views over the Douro River, Porto’s historic center, and the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge. Still fully operational, they preserve the authentic atmosphere of Port wine aging. During the visit, you can sense the rhythm of the cellar, from the maintenance of the casks to the sampling of wines, within a space that houses more than 2,000 barrels and 40 large oak vats, as well as extensive areas dedicated to the bottle aging of Vintage Ports.

The experience includes a guided tour of the cellars, culminating in a classic tasting of three Port wines, held in the main tasting room. A moment that combines tradition, heritage, and tasting in one of Vila Nova de Gaia’s most emblematic spaces.
