About the Activity
The Real Companhia Velha is the oldest and the most emblematic wine company in Portugal, with more than 260 years of existence and an interrupted activity in Port wine’s services.

We invite you to participate in a guided tour to the centenary cellars of Real Companhia Velha, starting with the projection of a video about the history of the Company and the process of making Port wine, from Douro to Gaia. 

The visit continues through the main ageing warehouse, passes through the “Vintage Museum” and ends in the shop, with a tasting including white Port wine, Late bottled Vintage, Carvalhas Reserva Tawny and a 20-Year-Old Tawny.
