Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, located in Sabrosa, Vila Real, in the heart of Douro Valley, is currently one of the biggest wine tourism references in Portugal, with a history of more than 250 years.
This is a truly sensory, playful and didactic experience. Create your own wine in a special and exciting activity! We invite you to enter the world of wine and experience being a winemaker for a day, in an activity that seeks to highlight one of the main success factors of Portuguese wines, the art of creating blended wines.
This experience starts with a visit to the winery dated from 1764, the Wine Museum, the barrel’s room and the underground cellar where we age the best lots selected by Amorim family.
After the visit, you will participate in the activity “Winemaker for 1 day”, with the creation of a batch, bottling, corking, image creation and bottle labelling, which you will take home at the end of the experience.
