In the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region, alongside the scenic N222 road and 5 minutes from Folgosa, Quinta do Tedo is located right where the Douro and Tedo rivers converge.
Surrounded by impressive landscapes, composed of granite mountains, shaped like trading houses, by centenary olive groves, by the Douro River and by the biodiversity of the Vale do Tedo reserve, Quinta do Tedo is one of the most remarkable and emblematic in the region. It is still a family-owned estate, known for its personable, professional and educational tours, its DOC wines and Port wines, and its Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Once a year, the owner of our estate, Kay Bouchard, leads a half-day harvest experience from 10am to 4pm, beginning with a snack and orientation session in the vineyards, followed by grape picking, a picnic lunch, a visit to the 18th century cellars and aging center, a tasting of three Quinta do Tedo Ports, and finally, a moment of foot treading in our traditional presses.
Join in the traditional Douro grape harvest at Quinta do Tedo and be part of the production of a great wine!
