About the Activity
Quinta do Quetzal is located at Alentejo’s Wine Region, at Vidigueira. It is nearby the most ancient Roman Wine House from the SouthWest of the Iberian Peninsula. The microclimate and the hills create the perfect environment for a unique terroir, very different from the usual in the area. 

The Quinta do Quetzal building has a restaurant, a store and an art centre. The schist, which lines its walls, stands out and simultaneously integrates fluidly with its surroundings. The surrounding space was designed to incorporate natural native plants in order to maximize the experience of the Alentejo's natural habitat. 

The Quetzal Art Center, dedicated to contemporary art, is set apart from the bustling art world. The program, aimed at all audiences, is guided by the desire to test the purpose of art outside the traditional commercial circuits. It exhibits works by internationally acclaimed artists or emerging artists who, for whatever reason, have escaped the public's attention, allowing them to develop a dialogue with a younger generation of artists.
