About the Activity
Located in Sobral de Monte Agraço, in the Lisbon Wine Region, Quinta do Cerrado da Porta is a small family-run business. Perhaps this is what gives it the freedom to produce wines "out of the box", which draw from the soil and climate all the potential of a region privileged by its clay-limestone soils, slopes between 200 and 300 meters of altitude, cold nights, morning mists and the permanent action of the Atlantic winds.

Currently, Quinta do Cerrado da Porta commercializes 4 brands: Troviscal is the entry range of the Quinta's wines, Peripécia, destined exclusively to varietal wines of prestigious French grape varieties; the Capicua brand, which offers dessert wines, fortified wines and late harvests, and the Quinta do Cerrado da Porta brand, destined to quality sparkling wines.

We invite you to discover Quinta do Cerrado da Porta and to enjoy a private guided tour, with the owner or winemaker, who will guide the tour telling the history of the winery. The tour will begin with a short stroll through the garden to appreciate the magnificent surrounding panorama. This will be followed by a visit to the winery, with a detailed explanation of the production methods used.

At the end, in the gardens of the estate, you will taste a regional lunch consisting of cheese and sausage starters, a main course and dessert. The wines will be selected for the best pairing with the food.

Highlights:
  • Guided and private tour, with the owner or winemaker, of the Quinta do Cerrado da Porta estate;
  • Regional lunch, paired with Quinta do Cerrado da Porta wines.
