About the Activity

Quinta de la Rosa, located in the heart of the Alto Douro along the banks of the river, near Pinhão, invites you to enjoy a wine and food break in one of the most emblematic wineries in the Douro Valley.

Quinta de la Rosa is unusual as we are able to show the whole port and wine making process from the vineyard to the final bottle. Most port houses make their Port in the Douro but store and bottle it in Vila Nova da Gaia, in Porto. We do everything in the Douro. Not only that, but we are able to show both wine and port making processes side by side.

We invite you to participate in a guided tour of the winery and traditional ageing cellar, where you will learn how the wines are produced and aged, as well as the history of the family and property. After the guided tour, in the estate restaurant, Cozinha da Clara, you will taste a traditional Douro menu, suggested by the Chef and paired with Quinta de la Rosa wines.

Conditions

Menu: Consisting of amuse bouche, main course and dessert. A glass of wine will be served with each course.

Wines: White Port, La Rosa White, LaRosa Red and Passagem LBV in pairing with dessert.

Extra: To accompany your lunch, you can choose a "Winemaker's Reserve Selection", where you will taste La Rosa Reserva White, La Rosa Reserva Red, a 10-year-old Tawny and Passagem LBV paired with dessert. - €15 per person.

Cancellation policy

Modifications and cancellations must be made up to 7 days before the start of the scheduled program. In case of cancellations outside the mentioned period, or in case of no-shows, there will be no refund.

Notes

There are many stairs between the cellar and winery, so we do not recommend booking tours for people with reduced mobility.
