About the Activity
"Food makes you happy, wine makes you happier".

In this self-drive tour for 2 people, we invite you to know the Alentejo wine region in 3 days. 

You will indulge in traditional wineries, visit vineyards, tasting the best wines of the region, and also experiencing the typical Portuguese gastronomy, together with a cooking workshop. The unique historical sites of this region is a must-see with places like Marvão and Évora.

This program includes one night in each of these hotels: Pateo dos Solares Charm Hotel, Torre de Palma Wine Hotel and Quinta das Lavandas.

Besides the charming hotels you will also experience a typical Portuguese gastronomy workshop in Torre de Palma where afterwards you will eat the epic feast that you have just made (can be for lunch or dinner). And you will also do a visit to a wine cellar with wine tasting at Herdade das Servas, Torre de Palma winery and a horse riding in Marvão.

What is included in this 3-day self-drive tour:
  • 3 nights’ accommodation with breakfast for 2 in a double room;
  • Car Hire for 3 days, arranged through Europcar (pick up and dropoff at airport or other Europcar point);
  • A typical Portuguese Cooking Workshop for 2 (at Torre de Palma and afterwards you eat the epic feast that you have just made which can be for lunch or dinner);
  • A visit and wine tasting with local tapas (at Torre de Palma);
  • A wine tasting and cellar visit Experience where you will be producing your own wine (including lunch);
  • A horse riding Experience close to the river with tapas and wine in the historical route of Marvão;
  • A booklet of your trip with inside tips for unforgettable memories and local experiences.

This tour is self-drive so it is up to you to decide your date of departure, we will be here!
The company providing the car rental service is Europcar. The car is a Seat Ibiza with A/C or similar. The car is rented for 3 days (pick up and drop off at Porto airport or drop-off at other Europcar point).
Cancellation policy
For cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the tour, 50% of total will be charged;
For cancellations less than 15 days before the tour or non-attendance, all the amount will be charged (100%);
In addition, a fee for administrative costs of 5% of the program or a fixed minimum of € 100 will apply.
