Boat Stella Maris
The Stella Maris is a magnificent example of the classic Moody 33 MK II.
Designed by Primrose Angus and built by Marine Projects Ltd, it was first introduced in 1973. It was Moody's first design, specifically intended to be mass-produced and quickly became very popular.
The Moody 33 underwent some modifications and remained in production until late 1983. MK I models were built until 1976 and Mk II models from 1976-1981.
The Moody 33 features exceptional interior space, consisting of a lounge with a large folding table that opens across the width of the saloon, the galley to port and a navigation table to starboard. At the bow there is a cabin with a double bed and a complete toilet, with hot and cold pressurized water.
At the centre of the boat is the cockpit, with the helm, navigation instruments and equipment for controlling the sail. To the side, under the seats, there are two large storage spaces. The engine is easily accessed from a hatch in the floor and hatches at the forward and aft ends of the compartments.
At the aft there is another spacious and comfortable compartment with two single beds and a cabinet with washbasin.
