Alentejo is an emerging wine region on the global stage, with a wealth of terroir and wines with richness in aromas and colours. On this luxury tour, you will visit two prestigious wineries.
The first is set in the heart of Alentejo in a unique landscape, with Márcio Kogan's interiors, Promontório's architecture and Michael Biberstein's artwork. In a private experience, you will learn of the complexity of the wines, by approaching the themes of grape varieties, microclimates and terroir. Included in the private guided tour is a tasting of 3 wines from the Alentejo region.
Lunch will take place in the L'AND restaurant, where you will enjoy a 6 moments gourmet menu, suggested by the chef, with wine pairing. Using unique products of the region, land, and sea in their natural cycles and with the help of local producers, the team use citrus fruits, vegetables, cheeses, herbs, meat from cattle raised in the countryside, fish, and seafood from the port of Setúbal and traditional olive oil. Every meal tells a story that you can eat, and inside every bottle there is a book that you can drink.
Next, you will explore a classic Portuguese winery. In a private experience, discover Mr. José Manuel de Mello's private collection of carriages, one of the largest in Europe. This will be followed by a walk in the vineyard and a tasting of 5 premium wines.
Make memories which will stay with you forever.
