About the Activity
Enjoy 3 days in Douro Valley with accommodation in a regional wine estate. Take time to enjoy the landscape and the surroundings of the charming village of Pinhão.

Douro Valley is mainly a region with a strongly marked culture. It is a man-made place in harmony with nature, taking advantage of the existing natural resources.

This 3-day program will take you to Pinhão. It is up to you to decide where you want to embark, Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia. Sail aboard a tourist ship along the Douro River, up to Pinhão. This route will pass through three dams.

During the trip, you will enjoy a lunch where you can enjoy the surrounding landscape. After finishing the cruise, you will disembark at the Pinhão Pier, where the transfer will be waiting for you to take you to the place where you will be staying!

You will check in and enjoy a magnificent dinner with the Douro as a background in the wine estate/hotel.

On the second day, wake up the senses with breakfast. In the morning you will visit the winery with wine tasting included. This day is to enjoy the winery and all its surroundings. The transfer will pick you up near lunchtime and will take you to a restaurant in the region where you will enjoy regional cuisine.

Enjoy Pinhão village until boarding the regular train, which will hold the return trip to Porto.

  •  08:00 a.m./ 08:30 a.m: Boarding at Estiva pier or Gaia pier towards Pinhão;
  • Breakfast on board;
  • Rising of the Crestuma-Lever dam (gap of 14,10 m);
  • Rising of the Carrapatelo dam (gap of 35 m);
  • Lunch served on board;
  • 02:45 p.m: Passing through Peso da Régua (eventual stop – landing/boarding);
  • Rising of the Régua dam (gap of 28 m);
  • 05:00 p.m: Arrival at Pinhão;
  • Transfer to Quinta de la Rosa;

  • Price for 2 persons, in a double room.
  • For odd number of people, select single supplement as extra (275€). 
Cancellation policy
If you cancelled up to 30 days before the experience, we will charge 15% of the total amount;
If you cancelled up to 15 days before the experience, we will charge 30% of the total amount;
If you cancelled up to 7 days before the experience, we will charge 75% of the total amount;
If you cancelled up to 3 days before the experience, we will charge 100%, the total amount;
In addition, all expenses and charges incurred by the operator with transportation, hotels or any other non-refundable costs will be charged;
In the case of environmental cruises, this is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. No changes are possible once a booking has been made.
Notes
The accommodation will be in a double room in a wine estate, subject to availability.
The start time is dependent on the meeting point.
The departures at Estiva pier will be at 8:30 a.m.
The departures at the Gaia pier will be at 8:00 a.m.
Only one child per room with one extra bed is allowed.
