Caminhos Cruzados

Caminhos Cruzados is the result of ideas and projects, and promises to help to put back on the map Nelas, as wine land.
Located in Nelas, Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property.

Located in the heart of Dão, the region is sheltered by the mountains of Caramulo, Montemuro, Buçaco and Estrela, thereby creating excellent geographical conditions for wine making, producing full-bodied wines with great ageing capacity.

In the vineyards of Quinta da Teixuga, some of them with 50 years old, we can find the best grape varieties of Dão region such as Touriga-Nacional, Tinta-Roriz, Jaen, Alfrocheiro (red varieties) and Malvasia-Fina, Encruzado and Bical (white varieties).

In 2017, we opened the new winery at Quinta da Teixuga, a modern, bold and incomparable building with the capacity to produce 400,000 litres. Thus, the region of Dão acquires the long-sought joviality being the Caminhos Cruzados project renamed “The new Dão”, due to its rebirth under modern elevation.
